The Restaurant Burehuus dates back to 1810. The building was part of a working farm until the 1980s.
The building has been completely renovated and modernized. However, the history and the "Burehuusige" atmosphere can still be felt throughout the restaurant.
The beautiful terrace behind the house, surrounded by fruit trees and a fountain, is a particularly cozy place to sit on warm summer days. Ideal for cozy afternoons, a coffee and dessert at the weekend, a dinner for two or as your wedding location.
Since the renovation in 2001, the restaurant has been located in the «Stübli», the former residential wing and former farmhouse section of the building. A great deal of attention was paid to detail when consulting the conservation authorities.
The history of the Burehuus can be especially appreciated in the attic of the «Heubühni». The over 200-year-old timber beams enchant our guests again and again - it's an ideal location to host any event
